Hi! I’m Shannon, but you can call me ‘Shan.’ I am super excited to have you in my space.
I’m a single mother of a wild and creative seven-year-old boy named Mesai, who keeps me busy daily. I am an Educator; I enjoy teaching, and I love working with children. Currently, I am enrolled in school to further my career in teaching. Navigating motherhood, my academics and the craziness of life have not been easy. However, I make it work for me with the help of a great support system.
When I can find downtime, I am indulging into a great book, catching up on my favourite shows (Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us, HTGAWM and the list goes on), online shopping, scrolling through Instagram sharing memes, or at the gym sweating out some well-needed stress. And, obviously sharing my life with you.
My journey through motherhood has taught me so much, and there’s still more for me to learn. I created ‘Sincerely, Shan’ as my creative outlet. For woman and specifically mothers, as they need to see other women authentically sharing their journey as they navigate the challenges of motherhood and life.
Sincerely, Shan pushes me outside my comfort zone to lead and share my journey with confidence. I have reached a point in my life where I feel my story is ready to be told by me. With Sincerely, Shan, I hope to create a community with all of you, where we are able to share, embrace and reflect safely.
