Hey everyone! This year has been long but somehow short and quite eventful. So much has happened during this pandemic. However, there is much to look forward to in the new year. I am excited for 2021, as I have accomplished some big goals this year, and I am making way for new ones. I am eager to take you all on that journey with me.
First, I have completed the first semester of my Master of Teaching program. It felt like the longest three months. I am happy to have made it to Christmas break and will be enjoying these next three weeks to the fullest (creating content and starting a research paper). Due to the pandemic, I have been completing my program online. There are both pros and cons to online learning; there are more pros for me right now.
My biggest blessing of 2020 has been that I am now an aunt. My niece, Nia, was born on October 27th. I love every second I have with her, and I have been spoiling her rotten. I can’t help it baby girl clothes are the cutest.
Another blessing is that I bought a house. My mother and I purchased a pre-construction earlier this year. I am super excited; it was not the most straightforward process, especially with the pandemic. Everything was closed or required appointments that did not always work with our schedule. However, everything worked out in the end. My son is also excited to move. He talks about it almost every day and is already planning out how he wants his room. I will be sharing the process of moving, purchasing furniture and decorating.
